Omegon Push+ Go Mount with Encoders: the complete Push+ mount

The Push+ Go is the complete version of the Push+ mount: a Dobsonian rocker box with digital encoders on both axes, allowing you to navigate to any object using your smartphone.

Real-time position

The built-in encoders on the azimuth and altitude axes continuously report their position. As you move the telescope, you see exactly where you are on your screen, and where you still need to go.

Why this works under light pollution

From the city, most alignment stars are invisible, and precisely then, star-hopping is a hopeless task. An encoder system is unaffected by this: it knows where the telescope is pointed, regardless of what you see with the naked eye.

Classic rocker box

Push+ works on a classic Dobson rocker box with GP dovetail mounting. That means smooth, damped movements without backlash, and no motors that draw power or cause lag.

What you need

Pay attention to compatibility: Push+ pairs via Bluetooth with Android devices and Windows computers. iPhone and iPad are not supported. The recommended app is SkySafari Plus 4 for Android, which must be purchased separately; the free version cannot control a telescope.
