Omegon Pro Veil SII Filter 7nm 2 inch: the sulfur channel of your narrowband set
The Pro Veil SII 7nm filter blocks disturbing light and only allows the red to orange light from ionized sulfur atoms to pass through. This makes faint planetary nebulae, supernova remnants, and emission nebulae stand out from the background.
Pro Veil is Omegon's narrow-band series for astrophotography. Each filter comes in a 2-inch aluminum mount with a sturdy protective case.

Higher contrast, clear structures
The selective transmission makes the background dark and emphasizes fine nebula structures. Details that would otherwise be lost are also preserved when shooting from urban areas.

Visual and photographic
The filter works with monochrome cameras and can also be used visually with a sufficiently large aperture. In combination with H-alpha and OIII, you can create full-color nebula images with it.

Where SII becomes visible
Z-wave emission is typically weaker than H-alpha. Expect longer exposure times for this channel than for the red hydrogen channel, especially for objects with low surface brightness.
Featured accessories
Combine with the Pro Veil H-Alpha 7nm and Pro Veil OIII 7nm for a complete set with equal bandwidth.
