Omegon Pro Powerbank 240k LiFePO4 768Wh 12V: the power station for long sessions on location
With 768 Wh, this is the top model of the Pro series, meant for anyone spending days in a row at a dark location. Multiple setups at the same time, a week of individual nights, or a single setup running continuously: the capacity is there.
The built-in MPPT charge controller makes it suitable for solar panels. Charge with solar energy during the day and have a full battery every night, without a generator or wall outlet nearby.
Sixty amperes peak power
The maximum current of 60 A is well above what a single setup requires. That means you can power multiple mounts, cameras, and heaters at the same time without getting close to the limit.
The cigarette lighter output supplies 12 V at 10 A for standard telescope equipment.
Charging via grid or solar
Note: A charger is not included. For the mains power supply, the 14.6 V / 10 A Anderson Powerpole charger is the suitable option, which charges the battery in a working day.
For the field, the MPPT controller accepts a solar panel, which automatically optimizes the charging current to the light conditions.
Movable, not portable
At 7.33 kg and with a sturdy carrying handle, this is a battery you carry from the car to your setup, not one that goes in a backpack. The 48k and 96k in the series are meant for that role.
