Omegon Latitude Wedge Deluxe with Vixen-Style Saddle: CNC Version for Maximum Precision

The Deluxe version of the equatorial wedge is entirely CNC-machined from aluminum. This results in tighter tolerances and less play than a cast or fabricated wedge, which directly translates into a more stable alignment.

Fine-tuning in four directions

You can adjust the altitude and azimuth smoothly and precisely. Because the movements run smoothly without backlash, you can continuously check the alignment during adjustment without your corrections counteracting each other.

Vixen dovetail mounting bar

On top is a Vixen mounting saddle that accommodates trackers and small mounts with a Vixen dovetail. This makes the wedge more versatile than just for the MiniTrack.

Spirit level and height scale

The integrated spirit level and the laser-engraved altitude scale make it possible to set the latitude in advance. That saves searching in the dark: you already start close to the correct position.
