With Omegon planet filters, you can increase contrast during planetary observation and make subtle details visible that would otherwise be lost. Each color enhances specific structures: cloud bands, polar caps, or ring details.

Which color for what

Light blue enhances cloud bands on Jupiter and Saturn with minimal light loss. Orange and red increase contrast on Mars, revealing polar caps and dust storms. Yellow is a mild all-rounder for the Moon and Mars. Green aids in contrasting planetary atmospheres and dampens bright moonlight. Purple is the most specialized, focusing on Venus.

Structure

Each filter is housed in a sturdy aluminum mount with optical glass and multi-layer coating, ensuring the image remains clear and true to life. They screw easily into any 1.25-inch eyepiece; they work on both refractors and reflectors.

Featured accessories

Color filters are best used on telescopes with an aperture of approximately 100 mm or larger. If you want multiple colors at once, a six-piece color filter set is more economical than individual filters.
