The Omegon Pro tripod replaces your tripod with a fixed center column with three foldable legs. It is stiffer than a tripod with three legs: the image settles more quickly after focusing and the pole position remains in place. The tripod weighs approximately 9 kg, supports up to 87 kg, and has adjustable, fixable leveling screws to ensure it is level even on uneven terrain. It is a complete tripod, not an extension to an existing tripod.
This version has a 3/8 inch photo wire adapter with a screw-in nut and three M4 threaded holes. You can attach a ball head, tripod head, large binoculars or a startracker to it. Those who work with a tracker and telelens but want the stability of a tripod are well catered for here. If you want to mount it equatorially, choose the version with mounting adapter for your mounting.
