Omegon MightyMak 60 Dobson Titania: the complete travel set with tripod

The Omegon MightyMak 60 Titania is the most complete version of the smallest MightyMak: the 60/700 Maksutov optics (f/11.7) on the updated MiniDob II mount, with a tripod included. On a table, on the tripod, or from a low wall: this set looks everywhere.

The MightyMak is a Maksutov-Cassegrain: a closed tube with a coated meniscus lens at the front. Dust and moisture stay out, collimation is rarely needed, and the lens suppresses reflections for a high-contrast image.

MiniDob II with tripod: standing observation

The updated MiniDob II mount has rubber feet for grip on slippery surfaces and genuine Teflon pads for smooth, shock-free movements. New in this Titania set: the included tripod. This allows you to observe while standing, wherever you want, without needing to find a table.

What you see with a 60 mm aperture

With the 25mm eyepiece, you can observe at 28x: the lunar disc with craters, Jupiter's moons, and Saturn's rings. With additional eyepieces, up to approximately 120x is usable. During the day, the set with the red dot finder and the erect imaging system is also an excellent spotting scope for birds and landscapes.

Telephoto lens for your camera

Via the T2 thread with a buffer ring, you connect a camera and use the MightyMak as a super telephoto lens. During the day, with the zenith mirror, it's a fully functional spotting scope for birds and landscapes: the image is upright.
