Omegon Pro Veil H-Alpha Filter 7nm 2 inch: hydrogen nebulae even under light pollution
Faint nebulae quickly vanish in ambient light. The Pro Veil H-Alpha 7nm filter blocks annoying artificial light and lets only the red light of HII regions through, making hydrogen nebulae such as the Orion Nebula and the Pelican Nebula stand out clearly.
Pro Veil is Omegon's narrow-band series for astrophotography. Each filter comes in a 2-inch aluminum mount with a sturdy protective case.

Higher contrast, clear structures
The selective transmission provides a dark background and bright nebulae structures. Even from urban areas, you can see fine details that would otherwise be lost in the skyglow.

Visually and photographically usable
Het filter werkt met monochrome camera’s en is ook visueel inzetbaar op een telescoop met voldoende opening. Combineer het met OIII en SII uit dezelfde serie voor volledige kleurbeelden van nevels.

7 nm as a workable middle ground
A 7-nanometer bandpass provides a significant boost in contrast without stretching exposure times too much. Those who want to cut even sharper choose the 3 nm version, but will then need more exposure time.
