Omegon Dimmable Red Pole Finder Illumination with M8 Thread

Omegon Dimmable Red Pole Finder Light with M8 Thread: Visible Engravings Without Glare

To use a polar scope, you need to be able to see the engraving in the field of view, and in the dark, it is virtually invisible. This red LED illumination makes the markings legible so you can precisely position the North Star.

The dimmer is the key here: light that's too bright will outshine the North Star itself, making it harder to see. With the integrated dimmer, you'll find the setting where both the engraving and the star remain visible. Red light also preserves your night vision.
