Omegon Dewlint 70 cm for 7 inch telescopes: fog-free at 7 inch optics

A dew strap works differently than a dew shield. Instead of shielding the optics, it holds the glass edge a few degrees above the dew point. This prevents water vapor from condensing on it, even at high humidity.

Adapted to the circumference of a tubus with an opening of approximately 7 inches. For this size, a controller is recommended: a ribbon of this length draws a noticeable amount of current.

Applying and adjusting

Wrap the strap around the eyepiece, lens, or tube. The flexible design conforms to the curve, and the hook-and-loop closure secures it in place. A controller allows for stepless power adjustment.

Featured accessories

All LED strips in this series operate at 12V and have an RCA connector. For stepless dimming, use a controller; without a controller, the strip always runs at full power.
