A dew strap works differently than a dew shield. Instead of shielding the optics, it holds the glass edge a few degrees above the dew point. This prevents water vapor from condensing on it, even at high humidity.

Finders and large wide-angle eyepieces have a wider circumference than a standard eyepiece. This 20 cm dew shield fits around them and also keeps the finder lens free from dew, which often fogs up first otherwise.

Applying and adjusting

Wrap the strap around the eyepiece, lens, or tube. The flexible design conforms to the curve, and the hook-and-loop closure secures it in place. A controller allows for stepless power adjustment.

Featured accessories

All LED strips in this series operate at 12V and have an RCA connector. For stepless dimming, use a controller; without a controller, the strip always runs at full power.
