Omegon Dew Heater DewFree USB 40 cm: USB telescope tubes

The FogFree series works via USB instead of 12V. This means a regular power bank is sufficient: no battery, no cigarette lighter plug, and no controller needed. The strip keeps the optics a few degrees above the dew point, so condensation doesn't stand a chance.

This ribbon is long enough for the tube of a smaller telescope. Handy for those who want to work without a battery or controller and still want to stay dew-free all night.

Apply and feed

Wrap the ribbon around the eyepiece or the tube and secure it with the Velcro fastener. Connect it to a power bank, which makes the ribbon particularly practical for observing on location.
