Omegon Binocular Mount with Counterweight: Balance your binoculars on a standard tripod head
A binoculars on a photo tripod head is always mounted forward: the center of gravity is in front of the head. This mounting position places the binoculars on an L-rail with a counterweight of 1 kg on the other side. The whole thing balances on the head; the binoculars remain in place wherever you place them, and you can aim higher without the head sagging.
Suitable for viewers up to 2.5 kg: from a 10×50 to a Nightstar 20×80. The 41 mm Arca-Swiss connection fits any ball head or tilt head with an Arca clip.

Parts
L-rail with Arca-Swiss profile, 45-degree viewfinder holder, 130 mm counterweight bar, 1 kg counterweight and a metal adapter for the viewfinder's tripod thread. Total weight 675 g, length 580 mm.
When and when not to
For 15×70 and 20×80 on a photo tripod, this is the cheapest improvement there is. Above 2.5 kg or at 45 and 90 degrees, it no longer works; then the viewer has to be mounted on a fork.
