Omegon Barlow Lens 2.5x (2 inch): four elements in the 2-inch format

The Omegon 2.5x Barlow lens extends the focal length of your telescope by a factor of 2.5 across the entire 2-inch light path. The four-element design with multi-coating keeps the image bright, sharp, and true to color.

The included 2 to 1.25-inch adapter makes it usable with your entire eyepiece set, and the spring-ring clamp keeps everything scratch-free in place.

Why 2.5x?

The 2.5x factor sits right between the classic 2x and 3x: just a bit more reach than a standard Barlow, without intermediate focal lengths immediately exceeding usable magnification. With a 20mm and a 10mm eyepiece plus this Barlow, you cover four magnifications.

Also for photography

The 2-inch filter thread accepts filters before the Barlow, and the sturdy clamp also carries a camera. For lunar and planetary photography, the 2.5 factor provides a significant increase in image scale.

Powerful in combination with 2-inch wide-angle eyepieces: the wide field of view is maintained while the magnification increases. Keep to a maximum of 2x the telescope aperture in millimeters.
