Omegon Barlow lens 2.5x 2 inch extends the focal length of your telescope by a factor of 2.5 and instantly gives your existing eyepieces higher magnification. Where standard Barlows often cause light loss or color errors, this four-element Barlow with multicoating offers a bright, sharp and contrast-rich image. This makes it suitable for both visual observation and astrophotography.

Thanks to the 2” aperture, you can use large wide-angle eyepieces without vignetting without any problems. The included adapter also makes it suitable for 1.25” eyepieces. At the bottom of the lens and adapter is a 2” filter thread, so you can easily continue to use your existing filters.

The four-lens apochromatic design minimizes chromatic aberrations. Moon and planets appear faithful and contrasty, without the color errors that often occur with simple Barlows. For astrophotography, this model is ideal: compact objects that would otherwise appear too small now fill your field of view much better.

The solid aluminum body features a spring ring clamp that secures eyepieces and cameras firmly yet gently - with no screws to scratch. This makes the Barlow a high-quality choice not only optically, but also mechanically.
