The Omegon AC 90/500 AZ-Baby Visual Set The ready-to-use version of the 90/500 wide-field tube is mounted on the compact Baby-AZ mount with a carbon tripod, complete with a transport bag. Set down, aim, look: within a minute, you're under the stars or gazing over the landscape.

The achromatic doublet lens with multi-coating combines two types of glass to reduce chromatic aberration. At high magnification, a thin color fringe remains visible around bright objects; this is characteristic of this type of lens and does not interfere with normal use.

Light tripod, surprisingly stable

The carbon fiber tripod quickly dampens vibrations and keeps the total weight low: exactly what a grab-and-go setup needs. The Baby-AZ mount moves smoothly in two directions and clamps the tube via the included tube rings.

The 90mm lens captures approximately 165 times more light than the naked eye. Magnification up to approximately 80x to 100x: star fields, the Moon, bright nebulae, and daytime nature.

For whom viewing time is more important than equipment

Large telescopes often stay indoors; this set is outside before the coffee gets cold. That makes it ideal as a second telescope alongside a large instrument, or as a first telescope for those who primarily want to observe frequently.
