Discover the night sky with your smartphone as your guide

The National Geographic AC 70/400 AR App makes stargazing intuitive and educational. The 70 mm lens and short 400 mm focal length (f/5.7) provide a wide field of view where you can quickly find the Moon, Saturn's rings, and Jupiter's moons. The lightweight tube and aluminum tripod are ready in minutes.

Smart guidance via the AR app

The included smartphone adapter and free AR app are the heart of this system. Place your phone in the holder and point the telescope: the screen shows in real-time which constellations and planets are in view. This way, you'll learn to navigate the night sky without charts. The app also includes a mini-encyclopedia with explanations, stories, and quizzes for young explorers.

Complete mobile observatory

The 70mm achromatic lens delivers bright, high-contrast images, and the 45-degree Amici prism provides an upright image, useful for celestial and terrestrial viewing. With the 20mm, 8mm, and 4mm eyepieces and the 3x Barlow lens, you can achieve a realistic maximum magnification of approximately 140x. Everything fits in the included carrying case, making it easy to transport the telescope to a dark location outside the city. Furthermore, with the smartphone adapter, you can take your first photos of the Moon.

For whom yes, for whom no

Suitable for: Children, families, and beginners who want to learn about the sky in a playful way with the help of a smartphone. Not suitable for: Those who expect a ready-made screen result from a viewer; that is the domain of smart telescopes. This remains true looking through an eyepiece.
