When astrophotography, you don't want to touch the telescope during focusing, because any touch causes vibrations. With this motor-focus set, you attach a stepper motor to a 2.5 or 3.0 inch Feather Touch focus, or to a 2.7 inch focus of Astro-Physics (AP). This way you can set the focus electronically, for example from your computer.

Many recording programs can automatically adjust the focus as the temperature changes over the course of the night. Check in advance what else you might need, such as the correct motor control and cables, and how to connect everything. Provides power and cables.
