This light red 2-inch color filter from Omegon is an excellent choice for revealing fine details on Mars and other planets. The red tint increases contrast and highlights features that often go unnoticed without a filter. For example, polar caps and dust storms on Mars become much more clearly visible. Also on Jupiter and Saturn, this filter helps to better distinguish structures in the atmosphere and rings. In lunar observations, it reduces the brightness of the light, making shadows and subtle details more sharply visible.

The filter glass is fully colored and mounted in an anodized aluminum mount only 5 mm thick.
