The eight-inch with Crayford focuser and mirror cooling
The Levenhuk Ra 200N The eight-inch Dobsonian is for those who immediately want better equipment. The 200mm parabolic mirror captures 816 times more light than the naked eye, and the built-in cooling fan quickly brings it up to temperature for the sharpest image. The included 30mm Super View (2-inch) eyepiece provides wide-field views; the 9mm Plössl captures planetary detail.

Equipment that you would otherwise buy separately
The 2-inch Crayford focuser provides smooth, backlash-free focusing. The 8x50 finder scope also reveals fainter stars when aiming, and the fan saves half an hour of waiting for cooldown. Realistic usable magnification is up to around 400x; Dutch skies typically allow for about 300x.
For whom yes, for whom no
For those who want the classic eight-inch formula with focuser, finder, and cooling already on board. Not for those who want to enter as affordably as possible; the GSO 200/1200 is the alternative in the same optical class.
