With this 1 kg counterweight, you can keep a SmartEQ mount balanced when adding accessories, such as a heavier eyepiece, camera, or viewfinder. With the counterweight in place, the compact mount operates smoothly and keeps tracking accurate.

The weight fits on the 16 mm counterweight bar of the SmartEQ and is secured with the locking screw.
