iOptron Sideres plate: side-by-side plate for two instruments

With the Sideres plate, you can mount two instruments side by side on a single mount: for example, a telescope with a guide scope, or a photo tube alongside a visual scope. The CNC-machined aluminum frame is rigid and lightweight, so the extra plate hardly impacts the payload capacity.

The dual clamp construction accepts Vixen and Losmandy profiles and holds both instruments securely.

Adjustable for exact balance

One clamp adjusts plus or minus 10 mm and the dovetail plate slides plus or minus 12 mm. This allows you to slide the center of gravity exactly above the mount's axis, without needing extra counterweights in the transverse direction.
