iOptron GEM45G Montering GoTo LiteRoc: Duitse montering met ingebouwde autoguider
The iOptron GEM45 is a German equatorial GoTo mount with a payload capacity of 20 kg (45 lbs), excluding counterweight, at a head weight of less than 8 kg. The CNC-machined head combines the trusted GEM construction with the weight-saving technology from the CEM series.
De G-uitvoering heeft de iGuider autoguider ingebouwd: eigen optiek en camera in de montering zelf, dus geen losse volgkijker meer op de buis. Je fotosetup blijft lichter, strakker en beter in balans.
Samen met de ingebouwde iPolar en de meegeleverde transportkoffer is dit de complete fotoset in de GEM45-serie.
Guiding zonder volgkijker
De iGuider stuurt via guidingsoftware zoals PHD2 continu bij. Minder onderdelen en kabels betekent minder dat mis kan gaan tijdens een lange nacht.
De ST-4-poort blijft beschikbaar voor wie toch extern wil guiden.
GoTo, GPS, and heated handgrips
The Go2Nova 8407 hand controller contains over 200,000 objects and has a display heater for cold nights. The built-in GPS automatically sets the time and position.
Operation from the computer runs via USB; wireless operation with SkySafari or ASCOM is possible with the optional iStarFi WiFi module. Autoguiding via the ST-4 port.
Light, stiff, and tidy
Silent stepper motors, a periodic error under plus or minus 7 arcseconds with PPEC, and internal cable management that prevents snagging during rotation.
The 6-inch saddle accommodates Vixen and Losmandy rails; the large locking levers also work with gloves.
