iOptron Cube Kit for Second Dovetail: second dovetail for Cube mounts

With the Cube Kit, you can expand an iOptron Cube mount with a second mounting point. The mounting block carries a Vixen dovetail clamp, allowing you to mount a second telescope or accessory with a standard dovetail rail.

Additionally, there is a 1/4-inch tripod thread in the block. You can screw a ball head onto it and attach a camera directly to the mount, for example for wide-field imaging alongside visual observation.

Compatibility and assembly

The kit fits the CubePro, Cube-E, Cube-G, and Cube-A. Mounting plate, prism clamp, and screws are included; telescope, camera, ball head, and tripod are not.

With a second viewer, pay attention to the total payload capacity of your Cube mount and keep the setup balanced.
