The Explore Scientific 100-degree 9 mm 2-inch is a top-class wide-angle ocular with argon filling. A field of view of 100 degrees is larger than your eye can see in a glance: the edge of the image disappears from your view, and it seems as if you are free among the stars.

With a 9 mm focal length and a 100-degree field of view, this eyepiece combines impressive magnification with a panoramic view. Circular holes fill the image with stars as far as your direct field of view.

Uncompromising optics

Nine lenses in six groups keep the image sharp and contrast-rich across the entire field, even on light-sensitive telescopes. The patented EMD multi-coating maximizes light transmission and prevents reflections and ghosting.

Argon-filled and waterproof

The sealed, argon-filled housing permanently keeps out moisture, dust, and mold. Dew-heavy nights and years of field use do not affect this eyepiece.

Comfort during long sessions

You adjust the adjustable eyecup to your viewing position. The weight does require a sturdy focuser and possibly rebalancing the telescope.
