Omegon Dark Blue Color Filter #38A 2-inch: Jupiter Detail in 2-inch
This dark blue color filter is intended for greater contrast during planetary observation. On Jupiter, you can see clearer cloud bands, storm regions, and details such as the Great Red Spot. On Saturn, rings and atmospheric structures become more visible.
Additionally, the filter dims bright moonlight. The strong attenuation in the red part of the spectrum does, however, require a sufficient aperture.

Features
- Warts #38A, dark blue
- Strong contrast on Jupiter and Saturn
- Dim field moonlight
- Standard 2-inch thread
Compatibility
For telescopes with a 2-inch light path and a generous aperture. Color filters work best on a telescope with an aperture of approximately 100 mm or more: the filter reduces light, and the aperture must be able to compensate for that.
