Celestron transport bag 102cm

Celestron Transport Bag 102 cm: keep your entire set safe in a bag

The Celestron 102 cm (40 inch) transport bag carries your complete telescope set in one bag: tube, mount and tripod. The outside is made of durable 900D polyester with a splash-proof finish, and inside 16 mm thick EPE foam protects against impact.

The bottom is reinforced with a hard PVC layer and rubber feet, so the bag can also be placed on wet grass or rough ground.

Customized layout

Three removable, padded dividers with velcro are included in your set. This way, the tube, mounting bracket, and tripod are each housed in their own compartment and won't clash with each other on the way.

Space for accessories

In the zippered outer compartment you can store cards and small items. The included padded accessory bag measures approximately 23 x 30 cm and holds eyepieces and a zenith mirror together, and you can attach additional equipment to the outside loops.

Comfortable wearing

Carry the bag on the two handles or use the padded, adjustable shoulder strap for hands-free transport to a dark observation site.

Included

• Transport bag 102 cm (40 inch)
• Three adjustable padded intermediate sections
• Padded accessory bag
• Removable padded shoulder strap

Featured accessories

Before purchasing, measure the longest component of your set; usually it’s the extended tripod or the tube. If everything fits within 100 cm, then this bag is suitable. For individual eyepieces, a separate eyepiece bag with pre-cut foam is the better storage option.

For whom yes and for whom no

• ✓ Owners of a refractor, small Newton or Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a length of about 100 cm
• ✓ Who regularly drives to a dark location and wants to lift everything at once
• ✗ Large Dobsons and long pipes over 100 cm: they do not fit
