The Celestron Luminos 10mm is a wide-angle eyepiece with an apparent field of view of 82 degrees. All lens surfaces are fully multi-coated and the lens edges are blackened, providing a bright and contrasty image all the way to the edge.

The 10mm combines a solid magnification with the wide, 82-degree field of view. Strong on lunar craters, globular clusters, and small bright nebulae.

An apparent field of view of 82 degrees is more than one and a half times larger than that of a standard Plossl eyepiece. You see more sky at the same magnification, and objects drift out of view less quickly, which is pleasant on mounts without a tracking motor.

Comfortable perception

The rotatable twist-up eyecup can be steplessly adjusted to the correct interpupillary distance, with or without glasses. The rubber grip ensures that the eyepiece can be easily handled even with gloves.

Solid construction

The housing is made of aluminum with a matte black finish to prevent stray light. The connection size is equipped with filter threads, so you can screw a moon filter or nebula filter directly under the eyepiece.
