The Celestron Inspire 70AZ combines reliable 70 mm optics with Celestron's smartest entry-level design. The illuminated accessory tray in the tripod keeps your eyepieces easy to find without disrupting your night vision, and the red light can be detached to use as a flashlight. The dust cap converts into a smartphone adapter for your first photos of the moon. With 100 times more light than the naked eye, lunar craters, the rings of Saturn, and Jupiter's moons are regular targets.

Aiming and focusing without frustration

The red dot finder projects two circles instead of a single point, so bright planets do not disappear behind the projection. The focuser features a scale for repeatable focusing. The 20 mm and 10 mm eyepieces deliver 35x and 70x; realistically usable is up to about 140x. The erect image also makes the viewer suitable for daytime nature observation.
