The Bushnell Legend 8×42 is the 8x version of the Legend 10×42. Due to the lower magnification, the image is more stable in hand and the field of view is wider, making it easier to capture a bird taking off. The exit pupil of 5.25 mm provides a clear image, even in twilight.
The RainGuard HD coating ensures that rain and condensation on the lenses break down into small droplets so you can still see through them. The housing is waterproof according to IPX7 and filled with gas so it doesn’t fog up from the inside as well.
For whom are these binoculars suitable?
For those looking for a robust all-round viewfinder for hiking, bird watching and travel, and who value a quieter image over maximum magnification. If you want to see in greater detail, choose the Legend 10×42.
