Birds on the other side of a lake or the craters on the moon are much better seen when you have a little more magnification. The Bushnell Engage EDX 12×50 magnifies twelve times with 50 mm lenses.
The exit pupil is approximately 4.2 mm (50 divided by 12). The image is therefore slightly less clear than with a 10×50, but you can see more detail. You can find it at our store. binoculars for the starry sky.
With twelve times, you see more of the tremor from the hand. For star gazing, a sturdy support or a tripod is therefore a good addition, if your viewer has a tripod connection. You can best see craters along the shadow border, so not at full moon. In The lunar calendar You can see what phase the moon is in.
If you want a more relaxed image from the hand, then The 10×50 from the same Engage EDX series a good choice.
