Bresser Plössl Eyepiece 20mm 1.25 inch: sharp overview at medium magnification
The Bresser Plossl 20 mm is a classic eyepiece with four lenses in two groups. With a 20 mm brand focal length, you get moderate magnification with a wide field of view. It’s useful as a finder scope and great for larger objects such as the Orion Nebula or the entire surface of the Moon.
All lens surfaces are fully multi-coated. This reduces reflections and keeps the image bright and contrasty. The interior of the eyepiece barrel is blackened to prevent stray light, and the housing is made entirely of metal.

Features
- Field of view of 50 degrees for a spacious and sharp image right to the edge
- Average magnification with a wide field of view, also suitable as a viewing eyepiece
- Foldable rubber eyecup against side stray light
- Filter thread for color filters and nebula filters
- Full metal casing, delivered in a twist-pack storage box
Compatibility
Fits any 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) focuser or zenith mirror and works with virtually any telescope. To calculate the magnification you’ll get, divide your telescope’s brand focal length by 20 mm.
