Baader Narrowband SII Filter CMOS f/2 Highspeed 1.25 inch: smalband voor extreem snelle optiek

De zwavellijn (SII) is het derde kanaal van het klassieke Hubble-palet. Dit filter isoleert die lijn met een halfwaardebreedte van 6,5 nm en maakt SHO-composieten compleet. De f/2 Highspeed uitvoering is speciaal ontworpen voor extreem snelle optiek: de doorlaatband is voorgeshift, zodat het filter bij openingsverhoudingen van f/3.4 tot f/1.8 op de juiste golflengte blijft werken.

Bij snelle systemen zoals een Celestron RASA of Hyperstar valt het licht onder grote hoeken op het filter, waardoor de doorlaatband van een standaardfilter verschuift en signaal verloren gaat. De Highspeed-serie compenseert dat en behoudt de volle transmissie op de SII-lijn.

CMOS-optimized

The filters are optimized for modern CMOS cameras: the 6.5 nm FWHM has been chosen for balanced exposures across the channels, and the Reflex-Blocker hard coating suppresses halos around bright stars. Blackened edges and the Life-Coat edge seal make the coating resistant to years of use.

Dit filter is gemaakt voor Hubble-palet opnames (SHO) van emissienevels, samen met H-alfa en OIII. Door de smalle doorlaat wordt de hemelachtergrond diep donker, ook onder lichtvervuilde hemel of bij maanlicht, en komt de diep rode nevelstructuur maximaal naar voren.
