Adjusting the focus with a screwdriver just before the corrector plate is no fun in the dark, and one misclick can scratch the glass. With these Bob’s Knobs for the Celestron C5 that’s no longer necessary: the small adjustment screws on the secondary mirror are replaced by screws with a large knob that you twist with your fingers.

This set is intended for the C5 with standard thread. The C5 belongs to the compact series. Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, And with such a small tube, the original screws are difficult to find. Please check beforehand which type of threaded connection your telescope has.

Replace the screws one by one so that the mirror stays in place. Then re-align the mirror on an unfocused star. If that still doesn't work, you can also use a artificial star for collimation use.

If your C5 has metric thread, then use the set with metric threaded connection.
