Omegon Pro OM10 Ball Head (10 kg): ten kilos on a compact head

The OM10 carries cameras with heavy lenses up to 10 kg and provides a stable base on medium and large tripods. For its size, that is a remarkably high load capacity.

The built-in spirit level keeps the horizon straight, the 360-degree panoramic scale helps with taking panoramic shots, and the adjustable friction lets you determine how stiff the head is.

Compatibility

Note the numbers: they refer to the series, not the load capacity. The OM10 carries more than the OM12. A ball head moves freely in all directions and locks with one button: fast, but you adjust all axes at once. A three-way head has its own lever per axis, which works slower but is more precise if you want to adjust one direction without disturbing the rest.
