Compact Newton for beginners

The Skywatcher N 114/500 SkyHawk EQ-1 is a classic Newton telescope with a 114 mm aperture. It is light and compact, so you can easily take it with you to your observing spot. Thanks to the stable EQ-1 parallactic mount, you quickly point at stars and planets.

Sharp vision of planets and nebulae

Saturn shows clear rings and Jupiter its cloud bands and moons. Bright deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula also come out well. The parabolic main mirror prevents blurring and keeps your image clear. This allows you to see details that remain hidden to the naked eye.

Incredibly easy to use

The EQ-1 mount is small, light and stable. Pointing is smooth via the slow-motion cables. The aluminum tripod has adjustable legs for a sturdy and vibration-free image. The telescope comes with a 5×24 mm viewfinder and 1.25″ eyepieces of 25 mm and 10 mm. A 2x Barlow lens doubles your magnification.

Immediately ready for observation

Within minutes, the telescope is set up and ready to observe. Ideal for beginners who want to see immediate results.
