Bresser EXOS-1/EQ-4 Mount Messier: compact equatorial entry-level
The Bresser EXOS-1/EQ-4 is a compact equatorial mount for small to medium-sized telescopes, with a payload capacity of up to 7 kg (15.4 lb). The worm gear drive with fine adjustments makes manual tracking smooth and precise: it truly helps you get to know the movement of the sky.
The EXOS-1 also has a growth path: with the separate RA motor, the mount tracks automatically, and the separate polar finder makes polar alignment precise. This way, your entry-level mount grows with you without needing replacement.
Load capacity in practice
Seven kilos means: refractors up to about 120 mm and Newtonians up to 150 mm aperture feel at home here. For heavier tubes, the EXOS-2 is the better base.

Expand with the Bresser RA motor for the EXOS-1 and the matching polar finder; the 6V power supply powers the motor from the wall outlet.
