The TeleVue flagship: 127 mm Petzval for visual and full-frame

The TeleVue NP127is is a top-of-the-line four-element apochromatic lens. With a 127 mm aperture and a 660 mm brand focal length (f/5.2), it combines high light-gathering power with an impressively flat field of view: the Imaging System series at its best, optimized for high-quality astrophotography without compromising visual performance.

From wide field to high magnification

The Petzval quadruplet with special glass types makes the image virtually free of color errors and field curvature, ideal for modern full-frame sensors. With a maximum field of view of up to approximately 4.4 degrees, large nebula complexes come into full view, and at high magnification, the Moon and planets show fine structures with high contrast. The included 2 to 2.4-inch adapter connects standard imaging trains. Realistically, visually useful magnification is up to about 250x.
