The TeleVue DIOPTRX 3,50 is an optical corrective lens that effectively corrects astigmatism during observation. With a correction value of 3,50 dioptrie (dpt) compenseer je jouw cilinderafwijking direct op het oculair. Hierdoor worden sterren weer scherp afgebeeld en kun je comfortabel observeren zonder bril.

Bij astigmatisme wordt licht niet in één scherp brandpunt gebundeld, maar in twee loodrecht op elkaar staande brandlijnen. Dit resulteert in uitgerekte of vervormde sterbeelden en minder contrast. De DIOPTRX corrigeert deze afwijking optisch, zonder de prestaties van het oculair zelf te beïnvloeden.

Draaibare as-instelling en hoogwaardige coating

De corrector wordt stevig op het oculair gemonteerd en blijft daarbij vrij draaibaar. Zo kun je de aspositie nauwkeurig instellen op jouw persoonlijke cilinderstand. Een correcte uitlijning is essentieel voor optimale scherpte.

The optical surfaces are equipped with high-quality multicoating to minimize reflections and maintain high light transmission. The integrated rubber eyecup zorgt voor comfortabel inkijken en helpt storend strooilicht te verminderen.

Compatibility with TeleVue eyepieces

The DIOPTRX is exclusively designed for select TeleVue eyepieces and does not fit eyepieces from other manufacturers. Compatible eyepieces include: Plössl 50, 40, and 32mm; Radian 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, and 3mm; Panoptic 41, 35, 27, and 22mm (19mm and 24mm with DEA-0001 adapter); Nagler Type 4 22 and 12 mm; Nagler Type 5 31 and 26 mm (20 mm with DEA-0001 adapter); all Nagler Type 6 models with DNA-6000 adapter; Ethos 6, 8, 13, and 17 mm; and the DIOPTRX-ready versions of the Click Zoom.

This is how you choose the right strength

The DIOPTRX is available in increments of 0.25 dpt, from 0.25 to 3.50 dpt. This version corrects 3,50 dpt.

On your eyeglass prescription, you only look at the value for CYL (cilinder). De sferische waarde is hierbij niet relevant. Heb je je gegevens niet meer, dan kan een opticien eenvoudig je cilindersterkte bepalen.
