ZWO M68 Tilting Flange: make the image plane exactly flat
Blurry or asymmetric stars in one or two corners of your image? Then the sensor plane is almost certainly tilted a fraction relative to the optical path: a tilted sensor, a slightly skewed focuser, or an aberration in the image plane. This tilt adapter corrects that mechanically, regardless of the source of the deviation.
Adjustment is done manually using three adjustment screws. You tilt the camera in minute steps until test stars in all four corners are identically round. Once adjusted, the correction remains in place.
Features
- Corrects tilt between sensor and optical plane
- Three setscrews for fine adjustment
- Resolve corner sharpness and asymmetrical stars structurally
- M68 connection for large optical trains
Compatibility
For setups with an M68 connection, such as large correctors and full-frame camera packages. For T2 setups, the compact T2 version is available.
