ZWO FF80 APO 0.76x Full-Frame Reducer: more field for the FF80
This reducer shortens the focal length of the ZWO FF80 APO from 600 to 456 mm and increases the focal ratio to f/5.7. Large nebulae and star fields thus fit into the full-frame field of view, and exposure times are reduced by nearly a quarter.
The three-element design with an ED glass element keeps stars round into the corners and the field flat. The built-in 2-inch filter thread (M48 x 0.75) accommodates narrowband or color filters without extra adapters, and the M48 and M54 output threads fit all common filter wheels and camera adapters.
Features
- From 600 to 456 mm focal length (0.76x, f/5.7)
- Three-element optics with ED glass for a flat full-frame field
- Built-in 2-inch filter thread (M48 x 0.75)
- M48 and M54 outputs for filter wheels and camera adapters
Compatibility
Exclusively for the ZWO FF80 APO: the reducer mounts directly onto the M68 flange of the telescope. For the FF65 APO, there is a dedicated 0.75x reducer.
