The William Optics SLT-1100 is a specialized adapter that connects the SBIG STL-11000 CCD camera to the FLT image flat panel designed by TMB. The fit is calculated precisely for this combination, so that the large sensor of the STL-11000 takes advantage of the entire flat image field.
The aluminum construction keeps the heavy CCD camera firmly in place without any play, even during long exposure sequences.
