William Optics 50mm Guidescope: The Universal 50mm Guider with Rings

This William Optics 50 mm guidescope is the classic model with tube clamps: you mount it parallel to your main telescope on a prism bar or tube rings, on any telescope from any merk series. The optics are identical to those of the UniGuide 50: a fully multi-coated 50/200 (f/4) doublet with a field of view of 5.7 degrees.

Via the clamps, you slide and precisely align the guidescope; the 1.25-inch RotoLock clamps your guide camera centered and without tilt, even when wearing gloves.

Ring sliders?

Choose this ring mount if your telescope does not have a William Optics handle or if you use the guidescope on interchangeable tubes. On a modern WO apochromat, the slide-base UniGuide 50 is the sleeker and lighter solution.
