The TeleVue Nagler Type 7 14mm 82° is a high-quality 2" wide-angle eyepiece for demanding observers who want to combine maximum viewing experience with comfort. With an impressive 82° field of view With a focal length of 14 mm, this eyepiece is particularly well-suited for deep-sky observations with fast Newtonian reflectors and Dobsonian telescopes. The optical design with six lenses and multiple coatings provides a bright, high-contrast, and sharp image right to the edge.

An impressively wide and sharp field of view

The 82-degree ultra-wide angle (UWA) design gives you a spatial feeling as if you are standing “in” the image. This is especially evident with larger objects such as open star clusters and vast nebulae. Thanks to excellent edge correction, stars remain beautifully point-like even in fast f/4–f/5 systems.

With a 19 mm eye relief Furthermore, this eyepiece offers comfortable viewing, even for eyeglass wearers. The foldable eyecup helps to find the correct viewing position quickly and stably.

Ideal for Dobsonian and fast Newtonians

On a Dobsonian mount, a large field of view is especially pleasant: you have to make fewer adjustments as the object moves through the field of view. This makes observing calmer and more relaxed. The 2" connection ensures stable and solid placement in the focuser, even with heavier configurations.

Furthermore, the Nagler Type 7 eyepieces are parfocal within the series, meaning you'll need less refocusing when switching. The housing has a robust finish and includes a filter thread for Standard 2" filters.
