TeleVue Everbrite 90° 2″ : Zenitspiegel: dielektrische zenitspiegel in 2 inch
De Everbrite 90 graden in 2 inch is de diagonaal voor de grote oculairs: Naglers, Panoptics en Ethos-modellen vragen een spiegel die hun beeldcirkel volledig en zonder verlies doorgeeft.
De Pyrex-spiegel met dielektrische coating reflecteert 99 procent en is tot op een tiende golflengte vlak. Een reductie voor 1,25 inch oculairs maakt de spiegel universeel.



Why the dielectric coating matters
Every star diagonal sits right in the middle of the light path; what the coating does not reflect is lost. The Everbrite mirrors reflect 99 percent across the entire visible spectrum, with a mirror surface polished flat to within one-tenth of a wavelength.
Furthermore, the dielectric coating is hard and wear-resistant: no protective layer that ages, but a surface that lasts for decades and can simply be cleaned.

Preventing the weakest link
A telescope is only as good as its worst element in the light path. A mediocre star diagonal costs contrast and introduces astigmatism, which is immediately visible at high magnification.
Anyone who invests in eyepieces of this caliber wants the light to reach the eyepiece unaffected. That is what this diagonal is for.
