TeleVue Everbrite SC 90° 2″ : Diagonaalspiegel: 2 inch diagonaal met SC-schroefdraad

De Everbrite SC schroeft rechtstreeks op de achterzijde van een Schmidt-Cassegrain, zonder visual back of tussenstukken. Dat scheelt een klemverbinding in het lichtpad en houdt de optische as strak.

De spiegel zelf is de bekende Everbrite: 99 procent reflectie, dielektrische coating en een 2 inch oculairopname met reductie.

Why the dielectric coating matters

Every star diagonal sits right in the middle of the light path; what the coating does not reflect is lost. The Everbrite mirrors reflect 99 percent across the entire visible spectrum, with a mirror surface polished flat to within one-tenth of a wavelength.

Furthermore, the dielectric coating is hard and wear-resistant: no protective layer that ages, but a surface that lasts for decades and can simply be cleaned.

Direct op de SC-draad

De vaste schroefverbinding is stijver dan een klemring en herhaalbaar: de diagonaal komt elke keer in exact dezelfde stand terug. Bij zware 2 inch oculairs voorkomt dat doorbuigen en verlopen van de collimatie.

Controleer wel de backfocus van je configuratie; een 2 inch diagonaal gebruikt meer lichtweg dan een 1,25 inch exemplaar. Op de gangbare SC’s van 200 mm en groter is die ruimte er.

Featured accessories

The diagonal combines with every eyepiece from the TeleVue lineup; the compression ring also securely holds heavy 2-inch eyepieces. A nebula filter can be screwed directly into the nose of the mirror.
