The problem with any plain wire cross-sight: in a dark sky it is invisible, just at the moment you need it. This 6×30 viewfinder solves that with an illuminated wire cross-sight: the soft red cross remains visible without compromising your night vision.

With six times magnification and a 30 mm objective, you can survey a large area of the sky and aim precisely, even at faint deep-sky objects in an otherwise empty field. Bracket included, fits the standard finderscope shoe.
