Sky-Watcher 2-inch O-III Filter: The Veil Nebula in widescreen
This O-III line filter exclusively transmits the two oxygen lines at 496 and 501 nm, the light in which planetary nebulae and supernova remnants shine. The rest is blocked, making faint structures appear against a deep black background.

Especially in combination with a 2-inch wide-field eyepiece on a large Dobson, O-III truly comes into its own: the entire Veil Nebula in a single view is a classic. Recommended for apertures of approximately 150 to 200 mm and up.
Features
- Line filter: transmits only 496 and 501 nm
- Ideal with 2-inch widefield eyepieces at large apertures
- Multi-coated, aluminum mount
Compatibility
Screws into the filter thread of 2-inch eyepieces and accessories. Suitable for visual and photographic use.
