Sky-Watcher 180 mm pier extension (WAVE): space your mount requires

This silver extension raises your mount head 180mm higher on the tripod. This offers two direct advantages: you can comfortably view through long refractors without bending over, and your telescope or camera rotates freely without hitting the tripod legs. Especially for zenith shots, this extra space prevents interrupted sessions.

The 1.1 kg construction is built to maintain the rigidity of your setup: gaining height without sacrificing stability. Please note that the four versions of this extension rod differ in flange connection; this version fits the WAVE series on the corresponding tripod.
