Sky-Watcher 45-degree erecting prism: your telescope becomes a spotting scope

This Amici prism shows the image completely corrected: upright and unmirrored, exactly as with the naked eye. This makes your refractor or Maksutov immediately usable during the day for bird watching, marine observation, and landscapes. The 45-degree viewing angle is the natural, comfortable angle for terrestrial use.

The optics are fully coated for a bright image. For purely astronomical use, a star diagonal remains the first choice; the erecting prism is the addition that also puts your telescope to work during the day.
