Sky-Watcher 17 mm Super Plössl: medium magnification while maintaining brightness
The Super Plössl design with four lenses in two groups has been the reliable standard among eyepieces for decades: sharp, high-contrast, and virtually free of color aberrations. The multiple coating maintains high light transmission, ensuring that even fainter objects remain bright.
The 17 mm brings out the detail in nebulae and star clusters without sacrificing brightness: a great intermediate option in any eyepiece set.
